Hi, my name is Laiken Wilson, I have been baking with my Dad since I have been a little girl.
We would watch Cake Boss together and try to recreate his recipes. I loved decorating cupcakes and selling them at our Lemonade Stand that my sisters and neighborhood kids would run every summer.
Soon the neighbors and family members were placing orders for cupcakes and cakes. It wasn't until the summer before high school that I wanted to make some money.
OK I wanted an iPhone and my parents would only agree to it IF I could pay for the monthly data plan. UHG!
So my Mom suggested combining my talent for decorating and baking into a business venture. I was hesitant at first but so glad I jumped into the world of entrepreneurship! I have learned so much running my own business - everyday is different and EXCITING!!!
I can’t believe it has been over eight years perfecting my craft, incorporating several techniques in order to serve my customers needs for custom sugar cookies that make their events memorable and tasty.
