Meet the Baker

Baking has always been part of my story. I grew up in a home filled with baked goods, inspired by my dad and both of my grandmothers, and I started baking seriously when I was just 13 years old. What began as a small way to earn extra money quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Today, I run Caiken Baked Goods from my home in Auburn, New York, where family, creativity, and community continue to shape everything I make.

For me, baking is my artistic release. I love turning simple ingredients into detailed, custom cookies, cakes, and cupcakes that help people celebrate life’s most special moments. I take my time with each order — carefully baking, decorating, and layering icing to make sure every piece looks just as good as it tastes. My travels and love for culture inspire my designs, bringing a thoughtful and creative touch to every batch.

I’m especially proud to operate as a completely nut-free bakery. I have a peanut and tree nut allergy myself, so I know firsthand how difficult — and sometimes stressful — it can be to find desserts that feel truly safe. Creating a space where families can order with confidence means everything to me. Being part of the Central New York region is such an honor, and I’m grateful to make sweet treats that bring people together for birthdays, showers, weddings, and everyday celebrations.
